Philip Remnant
Chairman
Philip Remnant was appointed non-executive Chairman of the Shareholder Executive on 25 June 2007.
Philip is a Senior Adviser of Credit Suisse's investment banking division in Europe. He was previously a Vice Chairman of CSFB Europe and Head of the UK Investment Banking department. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 1998, Philip was a Managing Director of BZW and Co-Head of the M&A Advisory Group. As Chairman, Philip's responsibilities include providing strategic direction to the Shareholder Executive and developing the Government's overall model of share ownership and management.
